I should have listened to my mother (and the people around me) who told me take my art seriously. My mother said when I was five I would jump off the couch screaming [impersonating the Incredible Hulk] with no shirt on.... Even at age five she knew I was probably going to do something with comics when I got older. After graduating from Grand Canyon University, I began working as a color artist in 1997. The fear of student loans forced me out comics a couple of years later. After having marginal success in the "business" world and attaining an advanced degree, I decided to go back to comic art. I wanted to return comic coloring, as well as pursue my aspirations of becoming a "good girl" artist.
Currently I am a full-time freelance artist. As a color artist and illustrator I have worked with Marvel, DC Comics, Terminal Press, IDW Publishing and Image Comics.
